The Sony Xperia XA3 would finally be called Xperia 10

The mid-range smartphone from the Japanese company Sony could change its name before its big announcement at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of February.

A way to simplify the names of your ranges?

The well-known ones like Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Plus finally could resign to these names and to change of name Xperia X 10 and Xperia X 10 Plus by a reason still unclear, since it is not even the tenth model of the Sony X range has existed since 2016. Maybe this is a way for the brand to simplify the names of these phones. The E, C and M ranges have already disappeared from the catalog and, apart from smartphones X, there is still the L range that was entitled to two iterations in 2017 and 2018. In other words, it is quite complicated to navigate through mobile phones from Sony.

The biggest screen
In addition to this possible name change, the special feature of this next mid-range terminal is the size of its screen. In fact, the Xperia XA3 (or Xperia 10, we do not know more) will have a screen in 21: 9 format, also called Sony's CinemaWide. Said format will be contained in a very modest size, since it will have 5.9 inches (6.5 inches for the Plus model) and will offer a definition of 2560 x 1080 px. This new middle range will not offer a notch or even a chin, just a big, good edge on top, like in the old days.

With respect to the rest of the data sheet, expect to find a SoC Snapdragon 660, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage and a rechargeable 3500 mAh battery via USB-C. In the last representations on the canvas, we discovered a double sensor on the back that could offer 23 and 8 Mpx.

Finally, we can discover it from all angles in a video that shows a man and a functional Xperia X10. The smartphone looks faithful to the representations that we have already seen, which shows a little more the veracity of the information leaked lately on the Internet on Sony phones.
