Pocophone F2: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and Android Q on Geekbench!

This year again, Xiaomi's brand, Poco, could release heavy artillery. A Pocophone F2 running Android Q appeared on Geekbench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Android Q is already available in a beta version currently deployed on all versions of Google Pixel. However, this new version of Google's OS is mentioned on a Pocophone F2 benchmark named Xiaomi Poco F2 on Geekbench. Given the score he displays with his Snapdragon 855, everything suggests that we are far from the final version.

4 GB of RAM for the basic version of Pocophone F2?

The Pocophone F2 benchmark on Geekbench leads to a Single-Core score of 1,776 points and a Multi-Core score of 6,097 points. Normally, a smartphone equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip is supposed to reach 3000 points in Single-Core and 10,000 points in Multi-Core. So we are far from the account. Other information is left by the Pocophone F2 after its passage on Geekbench. Thus, we learn that it has 4 GB of RAM, which is rather surprising since the Pocophone F1 was launched with 6 or 8 GB of RAM. We can also see that the Pocophone F2 Android and Q. One thing is certain, it is not likely to be marketed in the coming weeks but rather in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Pocophone should soon release a F1 Lite with a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and 4 GB of RAM. Unlike the Pocophone F2, this lite version would run on Android 9 Pie. His scores on Geekbench are much closer to what we have already seen. Indeed, the Pocophone F1 Lite has a Single-Core score of 1,341 points and a Multi-Core score of 4,830 points.
